Pastor Josh Abbott has been with VF since its roots were planted in the cafeteria of a local school. He and his wife Sara have been married for over 20 years. They believe that the church is the hope of the world and that we were created to do live together with fellow believers.

Julie tate has been at vf since 2019. she and her husband billy jack have 5 kids who range in age from 1 to 19. Julie chooses strong, biblical curriculum for our vf kids and works hard to build strong relationships with parents and work with them to keep the kids in her care connected and always building strong foundations on jesus.

Cody reed
Cody Reed has a strong biblical foundation and does a great job of teaching our youth scriptural truth. He grew up as a pastor’s kid in ministry, and leads our youth bi-vocationally

britton has been at vf since its beginnings in a school cafeteria. her work at the church started when someone asked if she knew how to fix a computer. she’s been in the sound booth ever since!

Steve & Robin Brumley
Get to know the Brumleys
Steve and Robin have attended VF since 2020. They have 2 sons and 7 grandchildren – “some are blood and some are bonus, all are special”. Steve works for Grady Co., and Robin is a home baker. In their free time, Steve loves to fish and go to muscle car shows. Robin loves to travel and bake. Their favorite verse is Psalm 91:1.
“Church for us is a lifeline. We need the grounding/refocusing it brings every week. We draw strength from our church family. We hope we can continue to grow in our relationship with the Lord.”

Bret & Lee Drennan
Get to know the Drennans
Bret and Lee have been at VF since it’s founding in 2012. They have 3 boys, one out of the house and the other 2 still in school. Bret owns his own HVAC business, and Lee is a HS teacher at Ninnekah. In their free time, Bret enjoys fishing, Lee enjoys reading and watching movies. They both love to travel but Lee is the more adventurous in traveling while Bret is happy leaving the adventures closer to home in an RV with family. Their favorite verse is Proverbs 3:5-6.

Billy Jack Tate
Get to know Billy Jack
Billy Jack and his wife Julie have been at VF since 2019. They have 5 children ranging in age from 9 months to 18 years. Billy Jack is the the Area Service Manager for USA Compression. His hobbies include woodworking/carving signs, raising chickens, and spending time with his family. His favorite verse is James 1:2-3.
“The church is important to me and it’s body of believers because it has been a place for me and my family to grow and to serve others. To be able to live out life together and know we aren’t fighting things alone.”
